Annie is looking a little pregnant.  This photo was taken today, 1/31, with only three weeks to go.

With 16 days to go, Annie was in a VERY playful mood this morning.  Very proud to pose and show off her big tummy for the camera.  She's doing well.  A little more tired then usual, but that's to be expected.  The pups are doing some moving around, so you can definitely feel them when you place your hand on her stomach.  During the next 12 days she will become more and more tired as the puppies begin to grow rapidly.  It's probably a little too soon to tell, but I don't think she has a very big litter.  I'm saying maybe 5 pups, but like I say every litter, "What do I know?"

Annie is doing what she does most of the time these days and that's resting.  The puppies are getting big and she's running a little short on energy.  With about 8 days to go she waddles her way around the yard and has a little more difficulty than usual going up and down stairs.  She's looking good though and all and all I'm very pleased with her pregnancy.  But, today is a very special day for Annie.  Today her boyfriend and daddy to her puppies is coming over to take her on a date.  Scroll down as the lovebirds date their way around the yard.

Annie is patiently waiting for her date, Sammy to come and pick her up.

Sammy arrives for Annie

Being the gentleman he is, Sammy asks Annie where she would like to go on their date.

Sammy stops to whisper sweet nothings in Annie's ear.

After walking and sniffing the whole yard together it's time to think about getting Annie home for some rest time.  After all, those are his babies she's carrying and he wants her to get her proper rest.

Annie appreciates Sammy walking her safely to the door.

Annie's all pooped out from her big date with Sammy and spends the rest of the afternoon resting and dreaming about her young stud.

Annie is slowing WAY down these days.  She is really starting to get big now and with just a week to go, Well, to those of us who have had children, we know what that last month is like.  I'm sure that's how Annie is feeling about now.  She needs alot more cuddling and attention these days, which is pretty normal at this point of her pregnancy.  Her appetite is slowing down now and her milk glands are starting to get big.  Soon she will start her nesting process.  It's getting close!

Annie is hanging in there.  She's looking  VERY huge and not alot of enery these days.  Her appetite has diminish and at this point it's just a waiting game.  Her due date isn't until next Tuesday but I don't think she'll go that long.  I'd advise checking the site a little more often then usual this weekend, since I'll update here as things develop.

I know everyone is watching the site for updates on Annie.  This was taken of her today, Sunday morning 2/20.  She's looking good, but nothing is happening yet.  Her temperature has dropped to 98.6% which is a good sign that labor is approaching, but other than that, no news.

Today wasn't one of Annie's better days, but hopefully tomorrow will be better.  Complications during labor forced Annie to undergo an emergency C-section today.  She's home and recouperating nicely, but unfortunately five of her seven puppies did not survive today.  However, these two little sweethearts did and seem to be doing nicely.  They are in good but guarded condition.

Thank you to all my friends and waiting list families for all your kind words and e-mails today.

Annie and her pups are doing pretty good today.  The pups are gaining weight and she's tending to their every need.  She seems a little sad.  Almost like she knows she's lost some babies.  Something tells me she does.  But, I'm happy to say Annie and her family are doing fine.

Meet Our Prince
Congratulations Joanne and family.
Meet your handsome little Prince

Meet Our Princess
Congratulations Ilona and family.
Here is your beautiful little princess.

Annie and the kids are having a lazy day.  At ten days old, our little boy is snoozing without a care in the world, as our little girl is grazing herself to sleep.

The pups are doing great.  Gaining loads of weight.  Our boy is coming up on almost two pounds, and our girl is 1.3 pounds.  Their eyes and ears are not open yet, but any day now we'll start seeing a little crack in their eyelids as their eyes start to open wide and they get their first glimpse of their mommy and the world.

Below our little Princess Jasmine on the left and our little boy Riley on the right.

3/3/05

Annie's babies out of their crate for a little change of pace.

Today is a BIG day for Sammy.  It's visitation day and he gets to meet the kids for the FIRST time!

Inside Annie is giving the pups their last feeding before daddy arrives.

Sammy knocks!

HELLO!!!
Sammy's getting a little impatient.

The pups are inside all ready and waiting for daddy.

So this is my little girl PJ?

So this is my little boy Riley?

These are MY kids!?

OH MY!

Sammy's thinking "NO WAY, I'm outta here.
Kids or no kids,I DO NOT do diapers!"

Need I say more?

Annie, PJ, and Riley want to say a BIG special thank you to the children of the Dr. George E. Blackman School of Excellence Early Childhood in Buffalo New York for all their get well letters and pictures.

YES, we have eyes!
Both PJ and Riley are doing great.  Riley is huge next to our little princess, but she's doing great too.  He weighs three pounds and she weighs two.  As you can see their eyes are open now and they are now starting to get up on all four legs.  Wobbly, but trying anyway.  It's still a little too early for that, but by next week they should be walking from one end of their crate to the other.  Annie is also doing great.  Totally enjoying her two little babies.

Our two little dolly's are up on all fours these days.

Very inquisitive, the pups are starting to climb their way out of the kennel

Annie is a great mother.  She keeps her babies clean and their tummies full.  Riley is now weighing 3 pounds 9 ounces.  PJ weighs 2 pounds 8 ounces.  The pups have little tiny puppy teeth.  They spend a good part of the day playing with each other and their mommy.  They have adorable little puppy barks and growls and love to be held and cuddled.  Soon PJ and Riley's families will come to meet them for the first time.

How beautiful are these two little dolls?????  Just five weeks old and full of life, energy, and hugs.  Both PJ and Riley get to meet their new families this week.  Both families are coming for a visit where they will get to meet and play with their new puppy.  In just two more short weeks the pups will be ready to go home with their new families.  I'm already missing them!

I'm not sure who had more trouble leaving the puppy yesterday Joanne or the kids, but one thing is for sure, this puppy is going to get PLENTY of love!  Everyone loved Riley, but who wouldn't.... Just like his sister PJ, he's adorable!!!

Well, it looks like the Yancy family is very happy with their little PJ.  Annie's little girl had a good time meeting her new family.  Everyone is excited and can't wait until April 10th, PJ's homecoming.

Annie's little boy Riley is so beautiful he stops traffic!  That's right, our handsome little boy has been known to cause a traffic jam just so passer bys can stop to see him.  At three months old his family is totally enjoying him and his mischievous, yet sweet, loving personality.

What a beautiful little girl.  Annie's little girl PJ is 5 months in this photo and FULL of energy.  Notice how except for her face, there is NO brown on her body.  Very unique, very pretty.  Simply beautiful!
